Need Info on Ballast Tube

[AL DOLGOSH]

I just dug down to the bottom of my junk box and found some 1957-vintage NOS
#6-13 Ballast Tubes by Amperite.

I am unable to find a rating on this "Resistor, Current Regulating".

Does anyone have ratings on this, and perhaps know in what piece of equipment
they were used?
