Useful New Post Office Offering

The US Post Office has a new service that will be useful
to us boatanchor swappers and shippers.

For 33 cents, they will add a "Delivery Confirmation,"
similar to the one used by UPS, to your package.

As and example, take a look at this package I mailed
a few days ago--

You can find the tracking web page at:

http://www.usps.com/cgi-bin/cttgate/ontrack2.cgi

The tracking number for the item is:

 03047990000170717636

Just cut and paste the number onto the tracking page
and it will tell you when and where it was mailed
and the current status of the shipment.

Pretty cool.
Even better then UPS because it lets you
know when and where it was mailed.

Just thought you'd like to know.
