Signal Corps Power Converter PE-104-A

Found a Signal Corps Power Converter PE-104-A made by Crosley in the
original box. Opening it up it is a vibrator power supply with a
switchable 6 volt and 12 input and a high voltage output. My question is
what system and/or equipment does this go to?
