I can only relate my personal experience. My card was run to the limit
with multiple purchases of computers and office supplies, hotels and
gas. I paid none of it. MasterCard shipped me a card with my account
(minus the disputed charges) changed to a new number in less
than a week. I was faxed a list of charges, told to circle the ones
that were mine. The rest were deleted from my account when I
faxed the sheet back to them. This was about 4 yrs ago.

The best thing about a credit card is that you are not out any money.
If you wish to contest a charge, your cash is in your pocket until it's
resolved
and you pay any balance.

To me, that's the ultimate leverage.

Paypal.

While I _have_ heard horror stories about them, I've never had
a problem with many hundreds of transactions. Not to say it
can't happen, just that in 400+ transactions, I've never
had a problem.
