Hello all !
I am offering what I believe to be a complete (or nearly complete -- someone
can let me know) set of S-38 variants I've assembled.
On offer is --
S-38 (the original, no letter)
S-38A
S-38B (2 of 'em)
S-38EB
S-38C
S-38D
S-38DM
S-38E
S-38EM
The relatively rare S-38 with the 10 watt cw transmitter feature
SR-75 (no final output coils)
And the consumer version,
5R10A
Plus - two "parts units"
S-38D
S-38B

I assembled this collection as part of several rooms full of wonderful
nostalgic radios that I figured I'd restore in retirement. A near-fatal
heart attach and a couple of angioplasties later, I need to have a bit more
modest aspirations.
It is my hope that a collector will purchase the lot in order to keep the
collection together.
Pricing: In order to encourage purchase of the collection as a unit, I've
calculated pricing at $30 per item.
If I break up the set and offer the units individually on eBay, I can
probably do significantly better, but that's not my preference.
So -- 14 items at $30 comes to $420 plus packing and shipping. There will
not be any handling charge whatsoever -- just what it actually costs me to
bubble wrap, plastic peanut, box, and ship according to the purchaser's
wishes.
If you would like photos, I'm taking them as soon as my camera battery
charges -- it's on the charger as I type this email. Just let me know and
I'll email pictures to you.
All units are in the condition they were in when I purchased them over
several years prior to my recent retirement. Some may work, some surely
won't (deteriorated line cord, deteriorated chassis insulating mounts, etc.)
Each one should be brought up on a Variac, of course, due to their age.
Thanks for your consideration !
