Perhaps Rupert is a ham, or maybe he just has met a few of
them over the years!! He he!
OTOH I think a LOT more people watch The Simpsons than
read the WSJ! Ham radio was presented there as fun, harmless,
quaint and eccentric.
Sounds like from another post, that the ARRL may have subtly
taken one in the eye in that WSJ article.
