I think that the shipper experiences vary based
on the quality of the regional and local management.

We have generally had very good experiences with
DHL, FedEx, and UPS (USPS won't deliver to our rural
residence) - the problems have been when the regular
people are on vacation.

Had an interesting experience recently when the local
USPO said their computer required a package to Alaska
to go Priority Mail instead of Parcel Post to the tune
of $40. extra! (Parcel Post was $45.)

Went to UPS and they wanted $188.!

Went back to the USPO and they ran it again and it
accepted the package as Parcel Post. Good news but
very weird!
