Globe Scout Deluxe

Just so happens I have my Scout 680A on the work bench being re-habbed. My schematic shows the pertinent resistors as R7 (470 ohms, 10W) and R6 (0.3 ohms on my schematic). R7 runs from pin 6 of the 6146 (cathode) to a terminal strip (2 terminal). R7 is a 'big' square 10W resistor so easy to spot and runs more or less parallel to the front panel. Then from the terminal,, there is a wire (which probably runs off to the plate/grid current switch) and a 1W (Red-red-black or 22 ohms if I remember my color code right) carbon resistor with a tinsy piece of wire sprial wound around it (the wire must be the 0.3 ohm part). This combo runs (more or less) toward a terminal strip along the rear. Should be easy to find. I can take a picture with the digital camera and send it on if you need.

Fellow Restorers/Collectors,
I could use some help with the above mentioned transmitter. I've actually
restored it to the point where it's putting out good power on CW and AM. The
audio sounds good and everything seems to be working well except for one
thing. The meter doesn't read plate current. It reads grid current all right.
It won't read plate current even when the meter leads are connected to an
external meter. There is a meter shunt, R-15, 0.24 ohms which I can find on the
schematic but don't know what I'm looking for under the chassis. I suspect
that may be where the problem lies. If anyone can point me in the right
direction it would be most appreciated.
Thanks in advance for all your help, past and present.
