[nsp] Can single DPT cards be used in GSR?

DPT cards in a GSR (OC48/SRP-SR-B) are normally used in pairs. We
would like to run a connection based on a single 2.5 Gbps DWDM
channel between two GSRs, using on DPT card in each GSR. Is this
possible?

Connecting these cards in the straightforward manner results in
side mismatch, because side A on both cards are connected. Is
there a way around this without inserting an extra card and the
accompanying mate cable?
