Is this even possible?

5500----------Router+------10Mb Ether(WAN)-----+Router----------Switch
    trunk Link      |------GRE Tunnel----------|	Trunk Link

Then the Tunnel and Ethernet interfaces on both ends would be bridged.
The reason why I want to do this is to tunnel 802.11q or ISL over that 10mb wan ethernet.
Because our providor does'nt support vlans over the link.

Is there a better way to do this?
I do have an RSM in the 5500.
