the IPv6 IOS document, Overview, it says:
.... For other interface types, the sending of router advertisement
messages
must be manually configured by using the "no ipv6 nd suppress-ra"
global configuration command.
but in the command reference of "ipv6 nd suppress-ra", it says:
IPv6 router advertisements are automatically sent on Ethernet and FDDI
interfaces if IPv6 unicast routing is enabled on the interfaces. IPv6
router
advertisements are not sent on other types of interfaces.
so, i'm wondering which one is correct. is it possible in 12.2T to configure
a p2p interface to send RA?
Thanks.
