In short, I wouldn't recommend connecting a 1000SX (multi-mode) GBIC
with any single-mode GBICS (WS-G5486, WS-G5487) in a production environment.
Cisco has a document discussing it, but they won't support it.

The 1000SX GBIC uses multi-mode optics (LEDs) to generate the light
instead of lasers. Instead of transmitting at a very narrow frequency range
the signal spans a fairly large range around 850nm. Due to the switching
speed, output capacity, and large frequency span of the LED it has a
limited range of around 500 meters. The advantage the LED optics
is that they are a lot cheaper to produce than the single-mode laser optics.

You can connect a multi-mode GBIC and single-mode GBIC together with
MMF fiber patch cable (usually orange) and get it to work. The best
combination would probably be the WS-G5484 and WS-G5486 like your using.
