[nsp] a question on traceroute

Hello,
I wanted to know what everyone thinks on this.
If I send a trace  without any options, it goes in loop.
If I send the same trace with the timestamp or record option, it doesn't go
in loop.
I am not setting the loose o strict options, so thouhgt the routing should
not be effected, but...
