All guru's out there...your help is appreciated on this one.

Is this an IOS issue? Or I am stuck with simply bad hardware???

Setup: 2 12008/40 gsr hook up back to back

GSR1: slot0 = GE-GBIC-SC-B
GSR1: slot7 = GRP with 256MB
System image file is "slot0:gsr-p-mz.120-6.S2"

GSR2: slot0 = GE-GBIC-SC-B
GSR2: slot7 = GRP with 256MB
System image file is "slot0:gsr-p-mz.120-6.S2"

The 2 gige cards are connected back-to-back. Gsr1=10.1.1.1/24,
gsr2=10.1.1.2/24

TEST:
All I did was to send a massive ping test, 18000 Byte packets at 0 sec
intervals. Initially the ping was happy, up until
