[c-nsp] 2948G-L3 + Netflow: Possible?

Hi folks,

I am considering to use Netflow with my  Catalyst 2948g-L3's.
Although, I was informed today by the local Cisco representative
that Netflow is not compatible with this switch.
Anybody could confirm this information?
My current necessity is to log/monitor network traffic in this switch.
Currently I am using MRTG but I am generating stats only per minute.
I need to detect/log/monitor any network failure possibly happening in
10~30 seconds.
