Hi!

We have two 7206VXR with NPE-G1's where we yesterday inserted PA-2FE-TX's.
So now they look like this:

Slot 1 contains a VAM2-module, taking 600 bandwidth points.
Slot 2 contains a PA-4T+ taking 0 points.
Slot 4 contains a PA-E3 taking 90 points.
Slot 6 contains a PA-2FE-TX where one port is shut. Should take 200 points.

A show version shows:

PCI bus mb1 (Slots 1, 3 and 5) has an aggregate of 600 bandwidth points.
Total of 600 bandwidth points have been used on PCI bus mb1.
PA's ( ) has/have over subscribed 0 bandwidth points in single port
configuration on PCI bus mb1.
PCI bus mb2 (Slots 2, 4, 6) has an aggregate of 600 bandwidth points.
Total of 290 bandwidth points have been used on PCI bus mb2.
PA's (PA-2FE = 400) has/have over subscribed 200 bandwidth points in single
port configuration on PCI bus mb2.
Please refer to the following document "Cisco 7200 Series Port Adaptor
Hardware Configuration Guidelines" on CCO <www.cisco..

Ehh...here it says that my PA-2FE-TX takes 400. Is it a display thing, or do
I need to
deactive one port on another way than doing a shut? It should only take 400
points
if I use both ports, which I dont.

Whyy? :)

Thanks
/Fredrik
