Well, I wasn't saying that CRC errors wouldn't occur at all.  It's going to
vary based upon vendor, engineering, service descriptions, squirrel
migration patterns, etc.

Actually, it's quite possible that a provider might do both EPD and PPD ...
depending on which bucket is discarding.
