I havent passed any production traffic across that link yet...but what concerns
me is that the original 1GbE jumbomtu link (fed from a WS-X6416-GBIC) which has exactly
the same settings does not have such giant counter increments. its all
nice 0s (apart from interface reset counter ;-) )
