My networks looks like this: Sender on a peer-as-(MSDP,PIM-SM)>RP-
ROUTER->ROUTER->CLIENT
RP-Router Running: 12.2(18)SXD6
Router: 12.2(18)SXD3
They are c6500-supervisor2
I have added correct mroutes to the sources.
When I try to join a group on CLIENT which is origined by peer-as,
everything seems nice on RP-ROUTER:
c6509-tule#sh ip mroute 239.255.102.2
IP Multicast Routing Table
Flags: D - Dense, S - Sparse, B - Bidir Group, s - SSM Group, C -

X - Proxy Join Timer Running, A - Candidate for MSDP

Outgoing interface list:

c6509-tule#
On ROUTER, things look pretty ok too:
c6509-sterik#sh ip mroute 239.255.102.2
....
(*, 239.255.102.2), 00:17:35/00:02:51, RP 213.80.98.4, flags: S
Incoming interface: Vlan300, RPF nbr 85.24.151.1, Partial-SC
Outgoing interface list:
Vlan4, Forward/Sparse, 00:17:35/00:02:51
c6509-sterik#
The group won't show up in "sh ip mroute active" on c6509-sterik
(ROUTER) but it shows in c6509-tule (RP-ROUTER)
Routing of groups where sources are directly connected to c6509-
sterik (ROUTER) works fine, even when clients are not directly
connected. Routing from c6509-sterik (ROUTER) to clients through the
RP doesen't seem to work though.
Thanks for any tips
