[c-nsp] Installing an I/O controller in a 7200 with NPE-G1

Hello,

I have read that with a 7200 with NPE-G1, I do not need to add the I/O
controller. Can  someone tells me that if I have some advantadge if I
install a I/O controller in a 7200 with a NPE-G1? Or there is no
advantadge so it is not necessary to install it?
