Richard,

In order to use XFPs you need to aquire the following:
- 7600-SIP-600 ($90,000)
- SPA-OC192POS-XFP ($125,000)
- XFP-10GLR-OC192SR ($4,000)
- Total: $219,000

If you want the XENPAK solution:
- WS-X6704-10GE ($20,000)
- XENPAK-10GB-LW ($15,000)
- Total: $35,000

Using XFPs seems pretty expensive. Why would anybody pay 6 times the
price of the XENPAK solution as long as this solution would work?
