We connect ASA 5520s to pair of stacked 3750 (we use it as a router) so that it 
gives us redundancy, don't know whether this helps you. Just a quick glance at 
your email I believe you are trying to connect 5510s to 2 L2only switches, which 
in theory should work, but I have no idea on how to run STP on the 5510s, if 
that is your question.
