Exactly, Eric. I've tested in another switch and works. But this, not. The
model is Cisco Catalyst 2960G - 12.2(25)FX and after start the service, the
switch give me these informations:

02:42:44: %GBIC_SECURITY_CRYPT-4-VN_DATA_CRC_ERROR: GBIC in port 65560 has
bad crc
02:42:44: %PHY-4-UNSUPPORTED_TRANSCEIVER: Unsupported transceiver found in

Unfortunately, I don't believe this command works across all platforms
or with all types of "unsupported" SFPs.  I just discovered this command
last night after posting to another list and tried it today with a
Finisar SFP on an ME3400-12CS and no dice.  The switch takes the
command, but still shows 'unsupported' and the link doesn't come up.
