Hi,

In our case the difference between boot variable on SP and RP was due to
"boot system" command. When it was boot system
disk0:c7600s72033-advipservicesk9-mz.122-33.SRC.bin", router used to boot
from sup-bootflash image, and like you, we had to break the boot sequence
and then had to type new image name. When we changed "boot system" command
to,

boot-start-marker
boot system flash disk0:c7600s72033-advipservicesk9-mz.122-33.SRC.bin
boot-end-marker

and then had to retype config register value to 0x2102, save and reload.
Since then everything is fine. However in you case everthing seems to be ok.
