[c-nsp] terminal server suggestions?

Another trick, which is not in the "Console Server" thread because I do
not consider it production quality, is to hang a bunch of USB to Serial
converters off an old USB 1.x hub plugged into a netbook or other junk
computer running Linux. Serial works great using minicom (the Linux
serial terminal program) and remote access can be via telnet, ssh,
xwindows, or whatever matches your favorite client. Also allows you to
run a protocol analyzer, tftp server, ftp server, nmap, netperf, etc.
And when you need a portable tool to leave behind at a client site for
monitoring, all you need to do is change the IP address used for remote
access.
