Anyone have any experience with running WCCPv2 on a Cisco 3825?
The router will have two gig-e intertfaces, one will have a dozen or so
sub-interfaces, traffic routing from one physical interface to the other.
No routing protocols, no NAT, no IPSec, etc... just a simple router with
WCCP v2 enabled.
I'm probably looking at average utilization somewhere around 50 Mbps, with
intermittent short lived spikes up to ~90 Mbps. Probably less then half
that traffic would be subjected to WCCP redirection, HTTP only.
My only experience with WCCP has been on the 6500 platform with sup720-3b's
sending to some BlueCoat boxes and that's been running well, just wasn't
sure if there was anything to be concerned about with the level of traffic
noted above on a 3825.
Any feedback is appreciated.
Thanks,
