I'd try the Juniper EX4300 if you want pure copper, or the 
EX4550 if you're looking for optical (and use copper SFP's 
where needed).

I don't have much experience with other vendors besides 
Cisco and Juniper.

You might also want to consider the Cisco 4500-X.
