I've been down this road with other boxes (3750E/2811/6500), it's just too
much of a headache.
Depending on the rack and it's elevation in the rack, they often sit right
on the threshold. The system temp of a 2811, mid rack, is 40C (fan speed
is high) - which is right on the threshold. A 3750E
,
mid-rack, is only 1C away from the Yellow threshold.
The 6500 is at the bottom of the rack, and it's OK for now, but the
inlet temperature is 39C.
