Hi all,

I'm having some major conferencing problems with a 3660 running
12.3(7)T4 (was running 12.3(4)T4 and T7 with same problem) using DSP
resources from an NM-HDV. The conference bridge is configured as an IOS
conference bridge in CCM 3.3(2) (old I know, will be upgrading soon) and
transcoders are configured as well as IOS Media Termination Points. We
added PVDMs to 3 different routers in 3 remote sites to save WAN
bandwidth and the quality of their conferences over the WAN was poor
since we didn't have enough CoS1 in our managed MPLS WAN. After I added
them and configured them at one site conferencing seemed to work fine
when I tested it.

I was at one of the sites yestereday since this is becoming a hot issue
because the users cannot conference at all. This is what happens:

I started a conference by calling a person local at the site and then
conferenced in someone over the PSTN. After hitting Conference the
second time that point I could only hear the person over the PSTN when
we were all in the conference. The other local person I conferenced in
could only hear the person over the PSTN as well and not me. The person
over the PSTN could not hear anyone.

The conference bridges are all registered in ccm and ACTIVE and
CONNECTED on the gateway. When the conference is made there is no sign
of any problems... other than one way audio problems and no way audio
for some participants.

I have a TAC case open right now and I've seen at least one other person
in the forums that has the exact same problem it appears which I replied
to yesterday:

Let me know if anyone has heard of anything like this. All three sites
are having the same problem and all are identical platforms running
12.3(7)T4 IP PLUS on a 3660 with conferencing from an NM-HDV.

Thanks for your time!
