We upgraded from 3.3(4) to 4.1(2) (I was told that we were the first
installation of 4.1.2 in a production environment) and we didn't have any
problems. We did not integrate with Active Directory and we are not using
Unity.
We had less than 5 minutes of down time and the whole install took less than
an hour if you don't include reading the "Before upgrading" document first.
