Check to make sure you can use the 1720 -- I know that some of the 17xx
series don't recognize VICs.  Also make sure that you have the DSP
resources installed.  We once ordered a 1750 for an applicaiton where we
already had some VICs -- but it was ordered with out the DSP card...
