i was thinking of the physical issue (hookswitch field notice), but that
does not apply for the ATA attached phones.
was just trying to establish if it follows the HP or follows the device.

Hmm, we have only seen it with the HP. Unfortunately it was just reported by
one user today, so I'm not sure about the exact circumstances yet (and
without having more info I don't think I would succeed with a tac case). My
first suspicion was that this was a mechanical issue.
What bothers me is that the ringer reportedly stopped.
I'll talk to the user and see if he can put down the HS the next time and
try to answer via the softkey. Do you have any known issue in mind?
Best regards
bernhard

does it only happen on calls that arrive at the phone through huntpilot?
what if you press answer softkey on 7912?

Hi,
maybe someone has seen this before:
I'm getting reports of the following behaviour (it's occurring
intermittent):
Broadcast Huntgroup is ringing on 2 or 3 Phones (7912 and 1 ATA)
Now, sometimes if the handset is picked up, the phone will stop ringing but
the call is not answered (timer does not start on the phone) The call is
still ringing on the other phones and can be answered there.
I'm runnging 4.1.3es23 (because of pickup and huntgroup functionality),
gateways are ar 12.4(3). I couldn't find anything in the bug toolkit. Might
this happen because of packet loss?
Best regards
bernhard
