[cisco-voip] 1mft1 back to back config

I have two IOS router with Vwic-1MFt1 cards and two Call Manager
servers.

I want to setup a test network between them, can I connect the mft1
cards with

back to back with a t1 crossover, or do I need a switch in between like
the adtran atlas?
