[cisco-voip] CCM 5.0(4) and unused DIDs.

Sure, this is pretty straightforward. Specify wildcards in your TP.

For example, your range extension range is 1000-1999. Specify a translation
pattern of 1XXX, translate the called party number to something like 9999.
Have 9999 be a CTI port that is CFAd to VM, and create/configure a
call/directory handler in Unity to respond on that number.

If you create a unique extension in that range (i.e. 1234), it will be more
specific than the TP above and will take precedence. If you delete it
completely from the system, calls to 1234 will revert to the TP.

Subject: [cisco-voip] CCM 5.0(4) and unused DIDs.

Another customer of mine has several blocks of numbers coming in over
multiple PRIs.
This is a single cluster setup.

There are quite a few of those numbers that are not used/not configured in
CCM. They would like those numbers (non-contiguous numbers) to be auto
forwarded to a Directory handler.

Is there a way to do this without specifing a range of numbers in a
translation pattern (since the numbers are spread out throughout the range
and would change often)?
