[cisco-voip] Thoughts on CCM 4.2?

I second 4.2(3) at the moment. There were some issues in 4.2(1) depending on what you were doing, etc and last time I had to work with TAC on a 4.2(1)sr1b bug they told me no more SRs for 4.2(1) (just newer ES's) and to go to 4.2(3). 4.2(3) has been stable since it came out at 2 places I work with that run it. YMMV however.

The word I got from Cisco is that 4.2(3) is the stable release of 4.2
for the moment. You'll find a lot of bugs fixed above 4.2(1).. The one
client that I have it on has ~600 phones, QSIG to a Nortel, Unity VM
and a few MGCP/SCCP gateways.. They've been running solid for about 3
months with no issues..
Hope that helps!
