Jason,

All I've ever done is change/cheat the IP address.

Theonly hard core technical reason I can think of why you can't change a
host name for IPCC (or CallManager for that matter) is if the server has
an instance of SQL on it.  Beyond that it should only be a matter of
finding all the registry keys and repository instances that refer to the
server by name and changing them.
