[cisco-voip] 7960 7914 Sidecar prevents new calls from being answered when transfer is in progress

I have a user with a 7960 with a 7914 sidecar. When a call comes into the
main line, she will transfer the call as directed; however, she also has
all extensions on her phone so the call actually rings on her phone as well
as the person's phone she is transferring to. If the person / voicemail has
not yet picked up she is not able to answer a second call coming in on the
main line until the transfer completes. The phone only allows her to pick
up the call that is transferring  and does not allow the option to select
the newest call to answer it. The phone load is 7.2(3). Is there a way to
allow the phone to select the newest call when answering?
