[cisco-voip] issue with CM and IPphone not releasing VM

CM keeps the orginal calling number and sends it back to that number.
This is by design.

 

IE>  person calls user b but user b has CFWDAll to user c and user C
does not answer..... why would the caller want to leave a message for
user c if they were calling user b.  The only work around I have is
CallFwd all to the full number (9.xxx-xxx-xxxx) of your  AA so that it
is the orginal called party. Yes this burns to call legs but it is a
"work around"

Here the issue we have an ip phone w/ VM  and at not we have her cfwd to
a cti point (AA ).   But for some reason if we Cfwd to AA or any other
phone and they do not answer.  It goes back to her own VM.  Shouldn't
the go to the phone im fwding to VM ( if they have there on VM and call
fwd settings correct)
