Looking at one specific field, bearer capability, the calls with problems
show 0x8890A3, which would suggest these phones have video or VT advantange
in some way.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Incompatible destination

I have a rather odd issue with a couple of phones, they are unable to dial
certain numbers and the debug says Incompatible destination after it appears
to timeout, this is only happening on these two phones and they are setup
with exactly the same CSS and using the same gateway as the other phones in
the office who can dial the number fine.

I have tried deleting the phone and re adding it to the CCM, setting it back
up again and this appeared to resolve the issue but it has now re appeared.

Anyone come across anything like this before?

The debugs of the failed call and from a working phone are as follows
