[cisco-voip] Attendant console queue MOH resource

The multicast MOH works fine for the first incoming call, but for the second
incoming call, there is no music at all.
Did I hit any IOS bug?

Is it an IOS bug?
I have a CMM blade and some 12.4 code had a Multicast MOH bug that the PSTN
did not get the audio stream.

Hi
I am using an H323 gateway at HQ - and not talking about the MOH under SRST
using branch flash and fooling the phones with the signalling to think they
are listening to multicast MOH from the HQ site. Simply - a case of because
we are going that route for branches we enabled multicast MOH at HQ and then
realised MOH towards PSTN stopped working on the h323 gateway. That is when
I started looking at the perf mon counters for cisco MOH device and plying
with the the require MTP tick on the ccm gateway.
Did not have time to play on this again - was pulled off to other work.

Is your gateway MGCP? If so, are you using the ccm-manager music-on-hold
command on the router?
Also, curious about this, wondering if you are getting unicast because you
have opted to insert an MTP into the audio flow. If you uncheck, does it
attempt to use a multicast port?

Should be able to
You can create a dedicated devpool for attendant MOH so that attendant can
use a different MOH source than normal users. I have done that before. The
problem I had was that even when I select multicast for the source I noticed
that 9by looking at the cisco MOH device in perf mon) that callers from the
PSTN to the attendant Q or when placed on hold get unicast MOh. I also had
to tick the "require media termination" on my gateway config in CCM
otherwise I could not get any MOH out to pstn callers as soon as I enabled
multicast MOh

Hi Guys,
On the AC pilot point configuration page, Common Profile & Device Pool are
both related to MOH resource, Which one is AC queue will use?
Does AC queue can work with multicast MOH resource?
Thanks
Cathy
