Extention mobility is the most common way I've seen this done in hotels.

Adam,

You can use the AXL-SOAP API, which is a web service exposed via CCM, to
update the CSS on a device or line. Alternatively, you could use forced
authorization codes or extension mobility as well. It all depends on the
experience you want your user to have.

Best regards,

Louis

I am trying to work with a motel operator to build a small solution for
providing call accounting and control features. We are going to write a
custom web application that queries the CDR to do the accounting part, but
I'm not sure how to go about changing the CSS (in a dummy proof way that a
front desk operator can handle) so that the phone can be set to internal
only, local or long distance access. Any ideas or suggestions?
