Using extension mobility you can create profiles - each with different
rights and then simply let the operator - give the tenant the login
name / pin according to the rights they have based on css (Class of
service restrictions.) Then use the line / device approach as
explained in the call manager SRND





Might be better ways to do it but as was said earlier it will depend
on what you are capable of doing as a programmer.

 Extention mobility is the most common way I've seen this done in
hotels.

Adam,

You can use the AXL-SOAP API, which is a web service exposed via CCM,
to
update the CSS on a device or line.  Alternatively, you could use
forced
authorization codes or extension mobility as well. It all depends on
the
experience you want your user to have.

I am trying to work with a motel operator to build a small solution
for
providing call accounting and control features. We are going to write
a
custom web application that queries the CDR to do the accounting part,
but
I'm not sure how to go about changing the CSS (in a dummy proof way
that a
front desk operator can handle) so that the phone can be set to
internal
only, local or long distance access. Any ideas or suggestions?
