[cisco-voip] SMDI Cable Pinout from Octel 250 to VG-248

The cable should be the same as a cisco console cable.  If you connect the
RJ45 end of a console cable to the VG248 SMDI "async1" port and the DB9 end
to your PC you can see the SMDI output in clear text.
