[cisco-voip] 4.1 outbound caller id on PRI

I have the had the same problem ... it looks like the voice translation
is wrong..

Try this:-

voice translation-rule 100
  rule 1 /^2/ /9165551234/

(assuming the extension no. begins with 2)

voice translation-profile to_outside
  translate calling 100

then configure the profile on the outgoing dial-peer (not on the ephone)

dial-peer voice 2 pots
 description ** T1 PRI pots dial-peer **
 translation-profile outgoing profile1
 destination-pattern 9T
 port 0/0/0:23

Use "debug voice translation" to see the translation happening

I am having trouble figuring out how to configure CME 4.1 to send caller

id on outbound calls.  it is sending the extension number currently.

it is a pri but no DID so all outbound calls should appear to come from 
the same number.

i have tried
dialplan-pattern 1 9165551234 extension-length 3

and

voice translation-rule 100
  rule 1 /\(^1..\)/ /9165551234/

voice translation-profile to_outside
  translate calling 100

ephone-dn  12  dual-line
  translation-profile outgoing to_outside

debug translation detail does not show that outbound translation to be 
happening  but test voice translation-rule 100 130 show the rule to work

any ideas?
