[cisco-voip] FW: 4.1 to 5.0 on MCS7835 hardware

Hi,

            I have two servers MCS7835-1266-TD.  They're on the list http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/products/hw/voiceapp/ps378/prod_brochure0900aecd8062a4f9.html as being unable to upgrade to 5.0 or 6.0.

            Does that mean there is something in the install that won't work?  Or will I just not have support from cisco once I upgrade the servers?  Long term I probably need a hardware upgrade, but will this upgrade work short term?  I have a very low number of phones in use on these servers.
