If you are using the CCMAdministrator account for AXL access make sure it
doesn't have any special characters in the password. Last I recall AXL had
issues authenticating users with special characters. You can create a new
user to test this out. Make sure whatever user you have specified is a
member of the "standard AXL API access" user group.

Subject: [cisco-voip] Mobility Manager 2 question

Hey Guys,

This is my first time setting up Mob Mananger on a CUCM 5.x system. I pretty
much have everything set up correctly.
When i choose the Mob Manager service on the phone I get the following
error: "Unable to find your directory number. Check your services
configuration"
In some of my research to figure out this problem i ran across checking the
"DirectorySevices.ini" file in the c:\dcdsrvr directory. Since this is the
Linux OS i cant
look for that file. Also as of this moment we arent using LDAP for this
install. We might go ahead and do it, but as of this moment we arent.
The Jtapi autoupdate is configured correctly and the two links on mob
manager are in-service.

Im also having problems adding users so im guessing that is why i get the
above error message in services for the phone. When i try to add a user it
fails the communication
with the CM. I made sure the userID matches on both side, however im a
little bit confused when putting in the device name.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Joel P
