You'll find very useful information in this SRND guide:

http://www.cisco.com/application/pdf/en/us/guest/products/ps1846/c1028/c
dccont_0900aecd800f351c.pdf

As a rule of thumb you'll need 2 IVR ports for each agent, so if you'll
have 120 agents, you'll need approximately 240 IVR ports.

In CRS 4.X you'd purchase only a number of seats and each seat will come
with 2 IVR ports.

if we add new PRIs in near future and try to handle most of the calls
through IVR. Don't you think we need some more IVR ports to handle those
calls?

I think you have 150 IVR (prompt&collect) ports included with your
system. You don't need to purchase new IVR ports unless you would
develop new scripts and make use of some advanced features, like data
base dips. Only for advanced features you'd need these 'exclusive' IVR
ports.

Now, if you decide to purchase only additional 50 IVR ports (to make a
total of 200) this will not work because in this case you'll be able to
use only 50 IVR (exclusive) ports.

So, in your case I don't see a reason you would need to order 200 IVR
ports at all. But if you really need these 'exclusive' IVR ports I
wouldn't buy more than 100 for your 40 seats.

Hello all,

I want to use CRS 3.5 for my IVR call handling. In my scenario ,
i have 4 inbound PRI s so that 120 calls at a time could be served. I
order following 40 seat liscense for my agents at a given time to handle
calls.

What i need to know is : In my premium liscense, is there any need to
order 200 IVR ports exclusively or they are included in the premium
package? I want 200+ IVR ports with the expansion of my setup in future
in my view.

My question is : if IVR ports are included in premium liescense 40 seats
or I need to order them exclusively?

I ordered the following liscenses:

Product Description
Quantity

IPCC Express 40 seats

IPCX-3YPRE-SEATS IPCX 3.5 or later 3.Y Pre add more seats to
existing IPCX 1

IPCX-3YPRE-SEAT1 IPCX 3.5 or later 3.Y Pre Seat Qty 1 (agent or
supervisor) 5

IPCX-3YPRE-SEAT10 IPCX 3.5 or later 3.Y Pre Seat Qty 10 (agent or
supervisor) 1

IPCX-3YPRE-SEAT25 IPCX 3.5 or later 3.Y Pre Seat Qty 25 (agent or
supervisor) 1

Please let me know your experience as well if any body has handled a
simmilar task like this.

Kind Regards,
