Make sure the account the MOH Audio Translator service runs as has
full permissions on that folder and all objects underneath.

We’re running 4.1(3) and I ran into the same thing today with our MOH
audio sources. I ended up having to turn on the detailed traces for
the Music on Hold translating. Set the Cisco MOH Audio Translator
service to “detailed”. Try to update the audio source again and then
go to c:\program files\cisco\trace\cms. Hopefully these trace files
will give you an idea of what’s going on. In my case today – I was
getting an “access restricted” – changed some security settings and
then it ran fine.
Hope that helps.

Running on Call Manager 4.2(3).
I’m trying to update our music on hold to a new recording.
I’m dropping the MP3 file into C:\Program Files\Cisco\MOH
\DropMOHAudioSourceFilesHere.
The MoH Audio Translator service is running. I have even cycled it.
I’m looking in the default TFTP \MoH directory for the newly
converted files but they are not appearing. What am I doing wrong?
