[cisco-voip] CallManager Express 4-2 -- extension mobility and 7912

Hi 

 

I am playing around with ccme 4-2 and specifically the extension
mobility feature - went OK so far and it is quite nice. On the 7941s
and 7961s login and logout with a profile works well. However - with a
7912G I have problems. When one hit the services - select the
extension mobility to login and out after hitting the key to actually
login or out the phone just sits there and nothing happens - and the
services button stays lit. If - however - one hits the services button
the login / logout process continues normally. 

 

I suspect that the problem is either with the ios version / phone load
or the softkey template. I am not that experienced with CCME and not
sure how to properly make different templates for different phone
types and what the best setup would be for a 7912 phone. If anyone has
something for cme and a 7912 please let me know. If I don't get
something I am going to register the 7912 with a call manager and look
at the positions and softkeys for the 7912 and that way try to develop
a template for the 7912
