A few fun dial-peer questions.
The Request:
Add prefix 179697 to all outgoing Long Distance calls.
Added dial-peer voice 104 pots to current configuration for request.
dial-peer voice 102 pots
translation-profile incoming 12
translation-profile outgoing 11
destination-pattern .T
progress_ind alert enable 8
incoming called-number .
direct-inward-dial
port 0/1/0:15
!
dial-peer voice 103 pots
translation-profile outgoing 11
destination-pattern 9T
incoming called-number .
direct-inward-dial
port 0/1/0:15
!
dial-peer voice 104 pots
translation-profile outgoing 11
destination-pattern 9[^1-9]T
progress_ind alert enable 8
incoming called-number .
direct-inward-dial
port 0/1/0:15
prefix 179697
My questions:
1. destination-pattern 9[^1-9]T is the same as destination-pattern 90T?
2. Will I need to add a preference command to dial-peer 102 so that 104
is hit first?
3. During testing, I noticed that the 9 is being stripped.
destination-pattern 0T catches LD calls.
This makes sense but where is the 9 being stripped at? Feel
terrible for asking this question.
